Tesla Chronicles #20 - Ride Share

Susan and I have commuted to work together now 99 times in 2022. This is an interesting side effect of owning an EV. This is mostly because Susan likes to not have to drive to/from work, but also she recognizes the cost savings we can realize by commuting (which is just smart if we owned an EV or not). 99 commutes:

That is over 2200 miles that we have NOT driven a second vehicle on the same route to work. We are blessed, at least for now, to work in buildings that are only 200 yards from one another.

We have saved just short of $400 in Gas

I estimate we have saved another $100 in car maintenance items (Pro-rated Tire wear and Oil Changes).

Nearly $5 in savings for every round trip commute we have shared.
