Tesla Chronicles #5 - Full Self Driving (FSD)

Until yesterday, FSD was only available from Tesla as a one-time, $10,000 purchase. Well now, you can get it monthly for “only”$199”. After one month of use, I honestly don’t feel the need for the additional features. Auto lane changing and stop light/sign identification might be nice, but honestly, without it, it forces the driver to be more involved in the driving process, where the driver is better prepared to take over in the event of an issue.

I may one day try it for a month (maybe a month where we plan to do more than one longer trip), just to see how it is, but otherwise…. I’ll pass.
